August 13. Kazakhstan Today - Russia insists that the Georgian militarians cannot be in the peace-making forces in South Ossetia. Charge d'Affaires ad Interim of the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan, Vladimir Sprinchan, informed on Tuesday at the press conference in the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.
"The position of the international European organizations, OSCE and EU, supports the Russian party with some exceptions," V. Sprinchan said.
He reminded that OSCE and EU position is that "it is necessary to stop the war in the zone of conflict, withdraw the armies, first of all Georgian, as they first came to the zone of conflict, and stop any operations there."
"All the armies should be withdrawn, that is to return to the position existed there prior to the beginning of the military conflict," the representative of the Russian Embassy noted.
However, in his opinion, it will be impossible to restore the status of the sides of the conflict, existed before August 7l."
"Peacemakers from Georgia have broken the mandate, left the zone of safety, moreover, they have entered the conflict on the side of the armed forces of Georgia contrary to the mandate of peace-making forces," V. Sprinchan commented.
