Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on August 5, 2008 KASE index decreased by 33.33 items (1.4 %) - from 2317.30 up to 2283.97, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 2309.12. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 2309.12 and minimum - 2283.97.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on August 5 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has decreased by 34.8 % and has made 143.0 million KZT, or $1190.3 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
