August 1. Kazakhstan Today - Preparation for sale of a part of the state share of Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) at the rate of 0.8 % of the authorized capital of the company proceeds. The chairman of Committee of State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, Edward Utepov, informed at the meeting of the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, the agency reports.
"Now the company has already fulfilled all the stock exchange listing requirements and has to pay stamp duty at the rate of 1.5 % of the volume of transaction, according to the British legislation, in order to hold further tenders," E. Utepov informed. In this connection, the application for allocation in the first quarter of 2009 of 568 million KZT for payment of the stamp duty has been brought for consideration of the republican budgetary commission.
