Nazarbayev approved development dynamics of Almaty oblast

Kapshagay. July 24. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, approved development dynamics of Almaty oblast. He stated during his working trip to Almaty oblast, the agency reports.

"I am satisfied with the trip to Almaty oblast," the President said. "Akim of Almaty oblast informed that since 2005 manufacture of industry has increased twice and receipt of taxes has increased twice as well," he emphasized.

N. Nazarbayev noted that "despite of financial difficulties in Almaty oblast and in general in all oblasts, housing construction has not decreased. 400 thousand square meters were commissioned last year and half a million square meters will be commissioned this year."

"Industry in all directions has grown, deposits of the population have increased, housing construction has grown, and agriculture has been developing well. The most important - construction of hydroelectric power stations on the small rivers has begun. The first hydroelectric power station will be put into operation on the river Issyk," the leader of the state said.
