President of Israel congratulated N. Nazarbayev on anniversary of Astana

Almaty. July 1. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the State of Israel, Shimon Peres, congratulated Kazakhstan on 10th year anniversary of the capital, the city of Astana. In the television address to the President Nursultan Nazarbayev and the people of Kazakhstan the leader of Israel emphasized historical importance of the anniversary of the new capital on Saturday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Kazakhstan embassy in Israel.

In the opinion of the Israeli leader, Astana is a city of future that has attracted many investments and much international attention. "Over a short time population has reached 700 thousand people. You have changed demographic balance of Kazakhstan, having founded the capital in the core of the country instead of the remote area," S. Peres said.

In his address to the President N. Nazarbayev, the leader of Israel noted: "you deserve much respect for your wisdom, for your creative approach, and your leadership. It is a great pleasure to see such victory based on innovations, good will, hope and prospect."
