Official visit of President of Ukraine Victor Jushchenko to Baku began

Baku. July 1. Kazakhstan Today - The official visit of the President of Ukraine Victor Jushchenko to Baku began on Monday, the agency reports.

According to the embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan, during the visit V. Jushchenko will meet his Azerbaijan counterpart Ilham Aliyev and will hold negotiations in the expanded structure.

"During the negotiations on cooperation development between our countries the parties will discuss cooperation in various spheres, including in energy. The President of Ukraine will take part in the opening ceremony in Baku of the monument to the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko and will visit the territory Hatain area in Baku allocated for construction of the embassy of Ukraine," diplomatic mission informed.

Also during the visit the copies of the new edition of Azerbaijan-Ukrainian dictionary will be presented to the leaders of two states.
