June 26. Kazakhstan Today - The leader of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev supported the method of construction introduced by Akorda Corporation, the agency reports.
Today the President N. Nazarbayev visited under construction microdistrict Asar in Shymkent and familiarized with the course and method of construction of housing for oralmans being constructed by oralmans. "We support this method of construction for oralmans and will introduce such pilot project in other areas of the country," the President said.
Within the project of construction of this microdistrict 2 thousand 800 families (19 thousand people) of oralmans will be provided with affordable housing. The future settlement will be located on 300 hectares of land where construction of more than 1.7 thousand cottages has begun. Cost of one square meter of new housing makes $250.
Prices of under construction cottages have been reduced due to manufacture of construction materials on spot - on the construction site - and also due to use of oralmans' manpower. 10 hundred parts have been allocated for each family for housing construction, all the necessary documents have been prepared, and the state land certificates have been received.
Construction of houses is planned to be finished within two years. To provide oralmans with work after they receive a house, the project stipulates construction of a hothouse on the territory of three hundred parts near each house. The initiator and contractor of the project is Corporation Akorda founded by oralmans that arrived from Uzbekistan.
