Parliament passed the Law on Accreditation in the Field of Conformity Assessment

Kazakhstan Today - Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan agreed with amendments and additions introduced by the Senate in the bill of Kazakhstan on accreditation in the field of conformity assessment, the agency reports.
Thus, the law is considered to be accepted by the Parliament and is forwarded to the President of Kazakhstan to be signed into law.
As it was informed earlier, the bill has been developed according to the assignment of the President of Kazakhstan on carrying out of the work on recognition of domestic certificates abroad with the purpose of exclusion of double certification. The bill establishes the new system of accreditation corresponding to the international standards.
Majilis deputies agreed with the Senate amendments introduced in the bill on amendments and additions to the acts of Kazakhstan concerning accreditation in the field of conformity assessment. Amendments have been introduced to the Laws of Kazakhstan on Animal Breeding Industry, on Measurement Unity Maintenance, on Technical Regulation, on Private Business, bringing these laws in conformity with the bill on accreditation in the field of conformity assessment.
The law is considered to be accepted by the Parliament.
