Nazarbayev met Minister for Foreign Affairs of China

Astana. June 24. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Chinese National Republic Yan Tsechi, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

According to the press service, during the meeting N. Nazarbayev and Y. Tsechi discussed the actual questions of Kazakhstan-Chinese strategic partnership. The parties underlined affinity of positions of two countries on a number of problems of world and regional policy.

The parties discussed a number of perspective directions of cooperation in the field of economy and policy, which can become an important factor for ensuring stability, safety and prosperity of two countries in the modern conditions.

"The relations between our countries have been developing successfully," N. Nazarbayev emphasized opening the meeting.

The leader of the state on behalf of all citizens of Kazakhstan has condoled with people of China in connection with the recent natural disaster and has emphasized readiness of our Republic to support this neighboring country. China already received humanitarian help of Kazakhstan in May, 2008.
