Kazakhstan delegation takes part in International Oil Conference

Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan delegation is taking part in the International Oil Conference in Jeddah summoned at the initiative of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
"36 states, 22 transnational oil companies and seven international organizations, in particular, OPEC, International Energy Agency, EU Secretary for Energy, International Currency Fund are taking part in the work of the forum," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs widespread on Monday states.
The King of Saudi Arabia Abdalla bin Abdel Aziz has taken part in the opening ceremony of the forum. The Prime Minister of Great Britain Gordon Brown, Vice President of the Peoples Republic of China, Minister of Energy of the USA Samuel Bodman, Ministers of Oil, Energy and Mineral Resources of the leading countries-producers and consumers of oil are the participants of the conference. Kazakhstan delegation is headed by Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan B. Akchulakov.
"The purpose of the forum is discussion of the reasons of sharp rise in price of world prices for hydrocarbonic raw material and development of joint efforts for stabilization of world oil market," foreign policy department of Kazakhstan informs.
The Cabinet of Saudi Arabia at the session under the presidency of the King Abdalla bin Abdel Aziz emphasized that the initiative of Kingdom on convocation of the conference of Energy Ministers of countries-exporters and consumers of oil demonstrates aspiration to normalize the developed situation in the world oil market and is a practical step towards stabilization of growing prices and shows readiness for cooperation with the countries exporters and importers of raw materials.
