Summit of chairmen of frontier territories of Russia and Kazakhstan with participation of presidents of two countries to take place in Aktobe

Aktobe. June 19. Kazakhstan Today - The summit of chairmen of administrations of frontier territories of Kazakhstan and Russia with participation of the Presidents of two countries - Nursultan Nazarbayev and Dmitry Medvedev - will take place in Aktobe on September 12. Aktobe deputy akim Bakytzhan Barmagambetov informed at the opening ceremony of the international industrial exhibition Europe-Asia: Cooperation Without Borders on Wednesday, the agency reports.

According to B. Barmagambetov, "in addition to the Presidents of two countries, the governors of the neighboring oblasts of Russia, mayors of Moscow and St. Petersburg, representatives of Kazakhstan government, akims of seven frontier areas, Astana and Almaty will take part in the summit in Aktobe."

"Despite of borders, Aktobe and Orenburg oblasts have been closely cooperating with each other. People live in good neighborly relations," B. Barmagambetov said, having added that "today's traditional industrial exhibition has been successively held for the seventh year in Aktobe is the evidence to this."

More than 130 enterprises, including more than 60 Russian are taking part in the exhibition. The businessmen of both parties plan to sign maximum quantity of contracts on mutually beneficial cooperation. The exhibition will last for two days and will be held in such sections, as Mechanical Engineering, Light Industry, Construction Industry, Consumer Goods, Public Health Services, etc.
