Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on June 16, 2008 KASE index decreased by 23.23 items (0.9 %) - from 2688.61 up to 2665.38, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 2671.78. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 2682.71 and minimum - 2663.43.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on June 16 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has decreased by 8.6 times and has made 167.2 million KZT, or $1385.2 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
