Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov charged akims of the oblasts to create in the regions working groups in order to simplify procedures of activity of small and middle business, the agency reports.
"Akims of oblasts and cities of Astana and Almaty jointly with the National Economic Union Atameken have been charged within a week to create working groups on simplification of procedures of activity of small and medium businesses in the regions," K. Masimov underlined.
In addition, the Prime Minister supported the proposal of authorities of Almaty to exempt small and medium businesses from paying for connection to powers. "There was a suggestion of Almaty akim about exemption from payment for industrial capacity for small business and determining its size for medium business. I support this proposal and charge to bring in this question at the government meeting tomorrow," he said.
