Kazakhstan plans to hold World Oil Congress in 2014

Atyrau. June 6. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan plans to apply for carrying out of World Oil Congress in 2014. General Director of Association Dzhanbolat Sarsenov informed during council meeting of KazEnergy Association on Thursday, the agency reports.

"We would like to hold one of the sessions of World Oil Congress in Kazakhstan," he said.

"We have this possibility in 2014 as after Madrid World Forum will be held in Qatar and 2014 is available," D. Sarsenov explained.

KazEnergy General Director reminded that Kazakhstan delegation is invited to 19th World Oil Congress to participate as a member of Congress, which will take place on June 28, 2008 in Madrid.

"We have already received confirmation from the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev, the Minister of Industry and Commerce Vladimir Shkolnik and the new chairman of JSC National Company KazMunaiGas Serik Burkitbayev. The above-mentioned ministers will be the main participants of the "Kazakhstan hour", which will be held on the second day of the 19th session of the congress," D. Sarsenov emphasized.
