Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on May 26, 2008 KASE index decreased by 16 items (0.6 %) - from 2722.93 up to 2706.93, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 2723.66. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 2729.27 and minimum - 2705.74.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on May 26 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has increased by 38.4 % and has made 276.5 million KZT, or $2293.9 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
