Turkmenistan to develop education system at the expense of returned Azerbaijan debt

Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov ordered to direct $44 million 800 thousand for development of education system in Turkmenistan transferred by Azerbaijan party into account of the reserve currency fund of Turkmenistan, the agency reports referring to the information agency Turkmenistan.ru.
According to the press service of the Turkmen leader, money resources have been transferred on the basis of the concluded intergovernmental agreement on settlement of promissory notes and financial requirements for natural gas exported earlier to Azerbaijan.
According to the decree signed by the leader of the state, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and Central Bank of Turkmenistan have been charged to provide target use of the resources.
