Supreme Audit Institutions of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to sign renewed cooperation agreement

Astana. April 29. Kazakhstan Today - The Counting Committee of the Republic Kazakhstan and Counting Chamber of Kyrgyzstan Republic will sign the renewed cooperation agreement and the plan of joint actions. The arrangement was reached today during the meeting of the chairman of the Counting Committee of Kazakhstan Omarkhan Oksikbayev with the chairman of the Counting Chamber of Kyrgyzstan Iskander Gaypkulov, the agency reports referring to press service of the Counting Committee of Kazakhstan.

"Within the renewed agreement the supreme audit institutions of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will exchange the acts of the national legislation, professional information and techniques concerning realization of the state audit and will estimate efficiency of customs procedures," the press service informed.

The parties plan to cooperate in the questions of classification of financial infringements, registration of forms of digital reports and drawing up of the annual report. The Counting Committee and the Counting Chamber will cooperate in the sphere of vocational training and improvement of professional skills of the staff.

The document will be signed at the next board meeting of the supreme audit institutions, which will be held in July, 2008 in Bishkek.

ECOSAI is the organization of supreme audit institutions of the economic cooperation countries. ECOSAI members are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. In October, 2007 the chairman of the Counting Committee of Kazakhstan O. Oksikbayev was elected the President of ECOSAI body.

The delegation of the Counting Chamber of Kyrgyzstan arrived in Astana to study the experience of the Counting Committee of Kazakhstan, the press service informed.
