Nazarbayev familiarized with course of construction of objects planned to be finished by Day of Capital

Astana. April 29. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev familiarized with the course of construction of the objects on Monday that have been planned to be finished by the Day of Capital, the agency reports.

The President visited the construction site of the new building - the congress-hall. The construction of the object began in 2007. The area of the construction site is more than 80 thousand square meters. Total cost of the project makes 12.3 billion KZT. A three-storey building of the new congress-hall will include a large hall for 4500 people, a conference hall, museum of history of Astana, a hall for ceremonies, a hall for press and restaurants.

N. Nazarbayev familiarized with the course of construction of the monument Kazak eli with the height of 91 meters that symbolizes 1991 when the Republic of Kazakhstan gained its independence. The monument is planned to be completed in July by the Day of the Capital. It will be established across the Palace of Peace and Concord. The architect of the project is Samatbek Bokebay, the artist -Sembigali Smagulov.

The leader of the state also familiarized with the course of construction of the covered stadium for 30 thousand places. The stadium will be equipped with TV networks with satellite and radio aerials, collapsible stage for concerts and other events, replaceable flooring for such kinds of sports, as big tennis, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, a helicopter platform and restaurant for 200 seats.
