Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on April 16, 2008 KASE index decreased by 19.49 items (0.7 %) - from 2624.31 up to 2604.82, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 2617.00. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 2627.42 and minimum - 2600.04.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on April 16 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has decreased by 2.4 times and has made 172.9 million KZT, or $1437.6 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
