Nazarbayev familiarized with new strategy of development of Kazakhstan holding Samruk

Astana. April 16. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev familiarized with the new strategy of development of the JSC Kazakhstan Holding for Management of State Assets Samruk till 2015. The chairman of the state holding Kanat Bozumbayev presented the strategy to the leader of the state on Tuesday, the president's press service informed the agency.

"According to the new strategy, Samruk should be transformed from the administrative to the operating holding, the main function of which is creation of new cost for affiliated companies," K. Bozumbayev said at the briefing.

The document, according to the press service, draws attention to two key directions of activity of the state holding - formation of effective investment portfolio and optimization and increase of efficiency of the work of the holding.

"The President has approved the key elements of the strategy of the company. We will discuss in the government the ways of realization of the strategy," the chairman of the state holding informed.
