Kanat Balmagambetov appointed Zhezkazgan akim

Karaganda. April 9. Kazakhstan Today - Today akim of Karaganda oblast in coordination with the president's administration and consent of the deputies of Zhezkazgan city maslikhat has appointed Kanat Balmagambetov the akim of Zhezkazgan, the oblast akim press service informed the agency.

According to the press service of Karaganda oblast akim, prior to the appointment for this post K. Balmagambetov held the post of akim of Satpaev city.

Kanat Balmagambetov was born in 1958. He has two higher educations. He began his carrier in 1979 after graduation from Zhezkazgan Pedagogical Institute. He worked in Komsomol and economic organizations and was the first assistant akim of Zhezkazgan. Since July 1999 - he was akim of Satpaev city. In 2006 on an alternative basis he was elected akim of Satpaev city. He was rewarded the medal Eren enbegi ushin.

According to the press service, akim of Zhezkazgan Musa Tanabayev has resigned from the post.
