First session of CSTO Coordination Council for Emergency Situations to be held in autumn in Bishkek

Kazakhstan Today - The first session of the CSTO Coordination Council for Emergency Situations will be held in autumn in Bishkek, the agency reports referring to the Emergency Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiyev.
"The decision was made, following the results of the organizational meeting of the chairmen of emergency departments of the CSTO member countries, taken place in Moscow.
According to K. Tashiyev, the council plans to come into close contacts with the similar structures operating within the CIS, other international associations, and international structures engaged in such issues. The questions of creation of collective system of reaction to extreme situations will be included to the agenda of the first session of the Coordination Council. The main directions of cooperation and mutual aid in case of natural disasters and technogenic accidents in the CSTO member countries have been developed.
