"In connection with the referendum on the introduction of Taiwan to the United Nations and the elections of the chairman of the administration of Taiwan on March, 22, 2008, Kazakhstan declared its adherence to the principle of "one China" and considers that the government of the Peoples Republic of China is the unique lawful government representing China and Taiwan is an integral part of the territory of China," the document states.
