President of Ukraine arrived for official visit in Astana

Astana. March 6. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Ukraine Victor Jushchenko arrived for the official visit in Astana on Wednesday, the agency reports.

During the visit the leader of Ukraine V. Jushchenko will meet the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and other Kazakhstan officials. The parties plan to sign some bilateral agreements, will participate in the opening ceremony of the Year of Ukraine in Kazakhstan and the business-forum. Also the Ukrainian President will meet the representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora living in Kazakhstan.

2007 was declared the Year of Kazakhstan in Ukraine. In its frameworks 200 events will be organized in Ukraine, mainly of economic character, including business-forum Ukraine - Kazakhstan: new opportunities for business with participation of about four hundred representatives of business circles of both countries: the chairmen of the large national and private companies, bankers and investors.
