Nursultan Nazarbaev, Shimon Peres held telephone conversation

Astana. February 12. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the President of Israel Shimon Peres held telephone conversation by the initiative of the Israeli party on Monday, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

According to the press service, during the talk the leaders of the states discussed the condition and prospects of development of mutual relations in various spheres. The parties supported activization of inter-parliamentary cooperation and expressed interest in strengthening of interaction in the sphere of technologies and innovations.

S. Peres emphasized N. Nazarbayev's role in the Asian region and noted that Israel closely observes economic successes of Kazakhstan and highly estimates the policy of tolerance and interethnic consent in Kazakhstan.

N. Nazarbayev, according to the press service, expressed hope for peaceful settlement of the situation in the Near East and invited the President of Israel to visit Kazakhstan.
