PACE co-reporters to discuss Azerbaijan realization of its obligations to European Council

Kazakhstan Today - Co-reporters of Monitoring Committee of the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) for Azerbaijan Andres Herkel and Evguenia Jivkova arrived in Baku, the office of the Council of Europe in Azerbaijan informed the agency on Monday.
During a four-day visit to Baku the speakers will familiarize with the course of performance by the Republic of obligations to the Сouncil of Еurope and will discuss pre-election situation in the country.
Following the results of the visit, the report will be prepared.
During the visit the co-reporters will meet the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Speaker of milli mejlisi Oktay Asadov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Minister of Justice. They will hold the meetings with legal experts, representatives of mass media, NGO's, political movements, and prisoners.
