February 4. Kazakhstan Today - The pensioners have returned monetary raise to the government of Kazakhstan, the agency reports referring to KTK telechannel.
According to telechannel KTK, they transferred the letters with money personally to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov on Friday during the session of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan.
"Thus, the pensioners have demonstrated discontent with the increased pensions and demanded adequate raise," telechannel informs.
"Pensioners put in these letters money, this increase. One thousand, eight hundred, six hundred, even change," Irina Savostina, the chairman of Association of movement Generation, said in the interview to the telechannel.
"As I. Savostina have not been allowed to make speech at the board in protection of the pensioners. She hopes that the Prime Minister will read all these letters addressed to the government. They contain discontent with little raise, questions on recalculation of pensions and offense of thousand pensioners by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection," the telechannel informs.
