Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the actions at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on January 23, 2008 KASE index increased by 64.23 items (2.6 %) - from 2518.01 up to 2582.24, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of an index at the level of 2538.19. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 2601.97 and minimum - 2538.19.
Volume of shares transactions included in the representation list of index, on January 23 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has increased by 46.7% and has made 294.1 million KZT, or $2445.9 thousand.
