Kazakhstan Today - 18 people were awarded for contribution to development of Kazakhstan by the decree of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the agency reports on Thursday referring to telechannel KTK.
According to the telechannel, the State Secretary of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev awarded the honorable workers of culture and education and the representatives of public organizations.
"Nominees awarded were put forward by the Parliament, the government, local and central agencies, creative unions and other organizations. The decision was accepted by the special commission for state awards and approved by N. Nazarbayev," KTK reports.
