World market prices for uranium in 2007 gone up

Almaty. December 21. Kazakhstan Today - World market prices for uranium in 2007 have gone up, which has been provoked by world apprehension concerning shortage of energy resources, the experts consider.

According to the President of the consulting company Ux Consulting Jeff Combs, many countries start to shift to use of atomic energy due to absence of other alternatives.

According to the International nuclear association (WNA), demand for uranium in comparison with the last year will grow by 1.7 times by 2030. To provide indispensable quantity of this raw material in the market for the following 20 years it is necessary to treble its volume of extraction.
