December 3. Kazakhstan Today - The Council for cooperation with local representative bodies has been created in the Senate of the Parliament (maslikhats), the agency reports.
The council is an advisory body in the Senate of the Parliament. Its main objective is development of proposals on improvement of the legislation in the field of local government and development of regions.
The chairman of the Senate Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev headed the council. The Senate deputy, Oralbay Abdykarimov, has been elected his assistant.
