Kazakhstan, Georgia ratified agreement on international automobile communication

Astana. November 29. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law on ratification of the agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of Georgia on international automobile communication, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

As it was informed earlier, the purpose of the agreement is creation of the legal basis for further development of cooperation in the field of international automobile communication and simplification of realization of automobile transportations between Kazakhstan and Georgia. The agreement regulates transportation of passengers and cargoes in international automobile communication between Kazakhstan and Georgia, transit through their territories, and transportations in (from) the third countries of the carriers admitted for performance of such transportations.

The regulations of the agreement provide introduction of free systems of international auto transportations of cargoes in the bilateral communication and transit travel on the territories of the states of the parties - participants of the agreement, and transportation in (from) the third countries.

The agreement was signed in Astana on March 6, 2007.
