GDP growth in Kazakhstan made 10.2 % for eight months of 2007

October 17. Kazakhstan Today - For eight months of 2007 GDP growth in Kazakhstan made 10.2 %, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov stated today at the plenary Majilis session.
"The growth of GDP for 8 months of 2007 in comparison with the similar period of 2006 made 10.2 %," K. Masimov stated.
"High growth is observed in industrial production, the volume of which has increased by almost 5 %." Thus, "the rate of growth in manufacturing industry has exceeded 7.5 %."
"The rate of inflation for 9 months 2007 made 8.6 %, that is by 2.7 percentage higher than for the corresponding period of 2006. Thus, the government along with the akims developed complex of measures on rendering additional help to the population," the Prime Minister concluded.
