Kazakhstan Today - The leader of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the decree on the measures on further development of the system of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Monday, according to which the Agency of Kazakhstan for competition protection has been created, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.
"The functions and powers in the sphere of protection of competition and restriction of monopolistic activity have been transferred to the agency, the press service underlined.
The President gave the assignment at the meeting to create the Agency on protection of competition with the government on October 11 2007.
