Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan is interested in deliveries to Syria production of the metallurgical, mining and chemical industry, fertilizers, and cattle-breeding production, the Kazakhstan government press service informed the agency.
According to the press service, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov held the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Syrian Arabian Republic Walid al-Moallem on Monday.
"The Prime Minister noted that Kazakhstan encourages support and development of strategic cooperation that has centuries-old, historically developed traditions between Damascus and Astana and supports the interest of the Syrian party to import Kazakhstan production of the metallurgical, mining and chemical industry, fertilizers, cattle-breeding production," the message of the press service informs.
During the meeting the parties discussed prospects of expansion of bilateral cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
