Kazakhstan Today - OSCE Supreme Commissioner for National Minorities Knut Vollebek met Kazakhstan Embassy employees in Hague, the Netherlands, the Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service informed the agency.
According to the message, "K. Vollebek emphasized exemplary experience of cooperation between the Kazakhstan party and the OSCE institutes, first of all, in the sphere of guarantee of the rights of ethnic minority and harmonization of interethnic relations. In his opinion, provided the consensus achieved within the OSCE, presidency of Kazakhstan in the Organization in 2009 would give a positive impulse to political development, both in Kazakhstan, and in the Central Asian region."
K. Vollebek confirmed the intention to continue active interaction with the state bodies of Kazakhstan under the OSCE projects and "expressed readiness to assist in realization of the national objectives in the sphere of interethnic and inter confessional relations in the society," the Kazakhstan MFA press service informs.
