According to the press service, the delegation of the Emergency Ministry of the Russian Federation will arrive in Astana for the working visit, during which it will familiarize with the work of the Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan, the Republican crisis center, and will exchange experience in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergencies. "The Emergency Ministers should approve joint regulations on the Kazakhstan-Russian commission on cooperation in the field of prevention of industrial accidents, catastrophes, natural disasters and liquidation of their consequences," the press service states.
According to Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan, the program of the Russian delegation includes acquaintance with the activity of rescue and fire services of Astana and Almaty, visiting of the Institute of Seismology of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Kazakhstan.
"Sergey Shoygu will meet the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov," the press service added.
