Budget debt to make 1.3 % to GDP in 2008

Kazakhstan Today - In 2008 budget debt will make 1.3 % to GDP, the Minister of Economics and Budgetary Planning Bakhyt Sultanov informed today at the government session, presenting the project of the republican budget for 2008.
"The debt is planned at the rate of 197.6 billion KZT, or 1.3 % to GDP," B. Sultanov said.
Total amount of income to the republican budget of 2008 is expected at the rate of 2 trillion 692.1 bln KZT, or 17.7 % to GDP. The income will make 2 trillion 684.7 bln KZT. Tax revenues are expected at the level of 2 trillion 209 bln KZT, non-tax - 43.5 bln, income from sale of fixed capital - 8.7 bln. The transfer from the National fund for financing programs of development is planned at the rate of 341.4 bln KZT.
Expenses of the budget are planned at the rate of 2 trillion 889.7 bln KZT, or 18.9 % to GDP. The expenses on the social block are planned at the rate of 936.9 bln KZT, or 32.4 % to the total amount of the budget.
