August 21. Kazakhstan Today - Nur Otan Party victory is an absolutely natural result. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said on Monday at the 13th session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.
"88 % of votes have been given for Nur Otan. It is an absolutely natural result," the President said. "In any elections there are those who win and those who lose. But on August 18, in my opinion, all Kazakhstan citizens won," he emphasized.
"The result of the elections has brightly proved the adequacy of the strategic way of development of the country, it has practically coincided with the results of the presidential elections of 2005. The people again confirmed their support to our policy after two years," the Kazakhstan leader noted.
