Kazakh PM charged Energy Minister to hold negotiations with Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan

Astana. July 30. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov charged the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan to hold negotiations with Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan for the opportunity to create uniform energy system. K. Masimov said today during selector government meeting, the agency reports.

The Prime Minister charged the Ministry of Energy "to consider how construction of Kambaraty-1 and Kambaraty-2 will affect water balance of our region, in particular, in Kyzylorda and the South Kazakhstan oblasts." "We need to understand the consequences of this construction as a number of neighboring countries expressed concern in this regards," K. Masimov explained.

The Prime Minister charged to hold in the 3rd decade of August the special session of the government concerning development of electric energy industry with participation of the Energy Minister, deputy akims of the oblasts responsible for development of electric energy industry in the regions, the main manufacturers of electric power in Kazakhstan.
