Kazakhstan Today - The Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan approved quantity of ballots necessary for voting at the extraordinary elections of the deputies of Majilis of the Parliament and the next elections of maslikhat deputies. The Chairman of Central Election Committee Kuandyk Turgankulov informed on Tuesday, summing up the commission sessions, the agency reports.
"The Central Election Commission established that quantity of the ballots needed to be prepared and delivered to polling districts for the pre-scheduled elections of the deputies of Majilis of the Parliament will total 8 896 173 pieces and for the next elections of maslikhat deputies - 16 664 704," K. Turgankulov stated.
As it was informed earlier, ballots will be delivered to polling districts not later than August 16, 2007. The elections will take place on August 18, 2007.
