CICMA special group session to take place on July 17-18 in Almaty

Astana. July 16. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the Special Group of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building (CICMA) will take place in Almaty on July 17-18, the agency reports.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Special Group work "will be directed at realization of the decisions taken place in March in Bangkok at the sessions of the Committee of the senior officials on implementation of the clauses of the Catalogue of confidence building, the cooperative approach to realization of CICMA confidence building, Regulations of CICMA international relations and further promotion of realization of financial and administrative aspects of the secretariat activity."

During the work of the group the state-members will consider the projects of memorandums of mutual understanding between CICMA secretariats, ECO and EurAsEc, and the report of CICMA Executive Director on working trips to Turkey and Iran, the message informs.

CICMA member states are Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Israel, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan and South Korea. The states-observers - Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the USA, the Ukraine, Japan, the organizations-observers - the United Nations, OSCE, the League of the Arabian states.
