Kazakhstan President signed amendments to law on armies of Internal Affairs Ministry

Astana. July 10. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law on amendments and additions to the law of the Republic Kazakhstan on Armies of the Internal Affairs Ministry of the Republic Kazakhstan, directed at improvement of the normative-legal base regulating activity of internal armies as well as bringing the norms in conformity with the current legislative acts, the president's press service informed the agency.

According to the norms of the law, the government powers concerning formation of the Council of internal armies have been transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan. According to the norms of the document, the commander of armies is given the right to present to the ministry the candidature of his assistants.
