Kazakhstan Today - Republican public association Monitoring Election Committee resumed its work in connection with the forthcomings pre-scheduled elections to the Majilis of the Parliament and maslikhat, the agency reports.
The committee chairman K. Sultanov reminded that the committee was created in 2005 during the presidential elections. It included prominent public figures and cultural workers.
The students - volunteers will conduct monitoring of the election process.
According to the association chairman, the main objective of the committee work is "support impartiality and objectivity." "We will be keeping distance from all competing parties, the authority and opposition," K. Sultanov assured.
