EU strategy for Central Asia to be presented to FM's in Berlin

Astana. June 28. Kazakhstan Today - The approved at the European Council session EU strategy for the Central Asian countries will be presented to the Foreign Ministers of five Central Asian states on Saturday, June 30, in Berlin, Germany Embassy in Kazakhstan message states.

"On Saturday, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Frank Walter Steinmeier will invite the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of five Central Asian states to Berlin... During the meeting the Federal Minister Steinmeier will present developed under the presidency of Germany in EU Council the EU strategy for Central Asia approved during the session of the European Council on June 21- 22 in Brussels," the message states.

The Ministers for Foreign Affairs will take part in the Berlin meeting: Kazakhstan - Marat Tazhin, Kyrgyzstan - Ednan Karabayev, Tajikistan - Hamrokhon Zarifi, vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Ilkham Nematov and the representative of Turkmenistan.
