Nazarbayev paid working visit to Semipalatinsk

June 18. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev paid working visit to Semipalatinsk on Saturday, the agency reports.
The akim (mayor) of the East Kazakhstan oblast Zhanybek Karibzhanov, the akim of Semipalatinsk Meyramkhat Aynabekov and other officials met the President at the airport.
The working program of the Kazakhstan President included visiting Semipalatinsk State Medical Academy where he met the graduates who after graduation of high school expressed desire to work in villages.
The Kazakhstan leader placed flowers on Abay monument and visited the regional museum of arts named after Nevzorov family. In the end of the visit, N. Nazarbayev took part in the meeting of the leadership of the East Kazakhstan oblast.
