Kazakhstan suggests CIS countries to concentrate on migration issues

According to the press service, the questions of CIS reforming became the key theme of the discussion at the informal meeting. The leaders of the states discussed the concept of CIS further development prepared by the interstate working group at the level of vice Foreign Ministers.

As the Chairman of the Council of the leaders of the CIS states, Nursultan Nazarbayev declared the necessity to reflect in the document the principle of pragmatic approach at formation of the formation of the agenda for the Commonwealth and to work according to the formula - one year - one theme. "The cooperation within the limits of the CIS is one of the important directions of foreign policy of Kazakhstan that attaches special significance to reforming the Commonwealth, optimization of its structures, including authorized bodies and the CIS Executive committee," N. Nazarbayev said.
