Proceedings instituted against Kazakhstan temir zholy executives - State Office of Public Prosecutor

Astana. June 8. Kazakhstan Today - The State Office of Public Prosecutor instituted proceedings against the executives of the National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ). The official representative of the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan Saparbek Nurpeisov said on Thursday at the briefing to the journalists, the agency reports.

"During the inspection of legality of the Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy activity, finished in the end of 2006 - beginning of 2007, the State Office of Public Prosecutor instituted 21 criminal cases concerning some KTZ executives," S. Nurpeisov explained.

According to S. Nurpeisov, KTZ ex-president Yerlan Atamkulov is engaged in the case. As S. Nurpeisov explained, KTZ officials are accused of rough infringements of the law on joint-stock companies, the charter and other legal documents at payment of personal premiums and bonuses to the administrative board, in particular to KTZ members of board.
