Session of constitutional reform working group took place

Almaty. April 24. Kazakhstan Today -The next session of the group working on the constitutional reform under the presidency of the Kazakhstan leader Nursultan Nazarbayev took place in Almaty, the president's press service informed.

The session participants considered the preliminary results of the work of the group including the proposals directed at strengthening of the Parliament role in the questions of formation of government bodies, such as the Central Electoral Commission, Counting committee, Constitutional council, and the Highest Judicial council.

"By the members of the working group proposals the project will include the changes concerning strengthening of legal functions of the Constitution, activity of public associations and political parties," the member of the working group, the Chairman of the Constitutional council Igor Rogov informed at the briefing.

According to the president's press service, the working group was created by the decision of the State commission on development of the democratic reforms program.
