March inflation rate made 0.7 %

Almaty. April 2. Kazakhstan Today - Inflation rate in Kazakhstan for March, 2007 made 0.7 %, from the beginning of the year - 2.6 %, Kazakhstan statistics agency informed.

According to the state statistics agency, in the market of articles of food the price for fruit and vegetables grew by 1.8 %, fish and seafood - by 1.4 %. Meat and meat products increased by 0.8 % (beef - by 1.1 %, mutton - 1 %, poultry - 0.8 %. The prices for bakeries and groats increased by 0.5 %, dairy products - by 0.3 %. Prices for eggs in March decreased by 1.3 %, sugar - by 1.2 %.

Prices for clothes and footwear for the last month grew by 0.7 %, goods of personal hygiene - by 0.8 %, printed materials - by 0.5 %, household goods - by 0.4 %, construction materials - by 0.3 %. The prices for diesel fuel decreased by 1.5 %, coal and gasoline - by 0.6 %.

Price and tariffs for housing-and-municipal services, according to statistical data, grew by 1.3 %, electric power - by 3.5 %. Gas supply has risen by 0.6 %, hot water - by 0.9 %, central heating - by 1.3 %. The prices for services of public health care grew by 3.4 %, education - by 0.8 %, culture - 0.6 %. Services of communication became cheaper by 0.3 %, international calls - by 0.9 % and cellular communication - by 0.4 %.
